Here is the discovery tour that I've made ​​during the visit of my parents and friends for my wedding in Cambodia in 2008. They had landed at Phnom Penh.The first day and the last day are the first full day and last full day in Cambodia, thereby excluding incomplete days due to the arrival and departure by plane.
 
  • Day 1 : Go by tuk-tuk to the Takeo province to visit the site of Phnom Chisor during the morning then take a meal in huts on shore of Tonle Baty at noon and after visit the site of Ta Prohm (Tonle Baty). 

  • Day 2 : Phnom Penh ->Sihanoukville by bus in the morning, afternoon relaxing at the beach

  • Day 3 : Excursion to Ream National Park (the driver led us also visit a crocodile farm). 

  • Day 4 : Excursion to Bamboo Island including 2 or 3 diving stops (snorkel). 

  • Day 5 : Visit the Kbal Chhay waterfall , taking the lunch on huts there and then go back to Phnom Penh by bus in the middle of the afternoon for an arrival in the early evening. 

  • Day 6 : Phnom Penh: Visit the Royal Palace, the National Museum of Cambodia and Wat Phnom Pagoda. 

  • Day 7 : Phnom Penh->Siem Reap

 
17 days Tour
 

On this tour, we find the 14 days' tour above complemented with a stage at Battambang. The first day and the last day are the first full day and last full day in Cambodia, thereby excluding incomplete days due to the arrival and departure by plane.

  • Day 8 : Kompong Thom->Siem Reap. On the road in the village of Kompong Kdei, 60 km from Siem Reap, remains the largest and most important of the 11 bridges remaining Angkorian era: The Bridge : Spean Preah Toeus .
